We are looking for a ROCKSTAR Marketing Manager to join our team.  

This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing B2B plant-based brand! The Marketing Manager will be a self-starter with a strong marketing foundation, excellent communication,organization, and project management skills. The Marketing Manager will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the day-to-day for Algarithm’s marketing programs. Marketing programs include, but are not limited to,research and development, digital media, design, e-mail, e-commerce, social,public relations, customer service, and field marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities

The role will primarily be involved in the day to day marketing activities of Algarithm such as:

  • Establishing an overarching marketing / brand plan – including establishing marketing KPI’s
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to implement our marketing plan
  • Planning and Creating content /sales tools / brand collaterals (concept to design)
  • Contributing / collaborating on social media posting – primarily LinkedIn and MailChimp,
  • Preparing Blogs / contributing to positioning Algarithm as a leader in our field
  • Content and distribution of press releases/PR agency in a timely and effective way
  • Market research
  • Assisting / directing website maintenance and updating,
  • Monitoring google analytics and adjusting web / ad content to improve web presence effectiveness
  • Responding to customer inquiries/ supporting customer service.  

Education & Experience

  • Preference for someone with 2-3+ years of industry experience, leading a B2B marketing program
  • B.Comm or B. Arts with some connection to marketing is a great start! MBA with marketing focus would be an asset
  • Design experience with softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro is desirable. Some experience in developing and implementing marketing plans, including measurement is preferred
  • An understanding or willingness to learn the principals of LEAN
  • Interest / understanding of science / nutrition would be ideal

Conditions of Work

This is a salaried position that may require national and international travel. Occasionally,there are industry conferences held over weekends.
